roberto botticelli® is a family owned business based in Marche, Italy. The company was founded by Aldo Botticelli, a master Italian leather cutter in 1946 in footwear district of Marche, Italy. He started this adventure by making handcrafted, comfortable, and top quality shoes for domestic market.

The business was transformed to the next level by his son, Roberto Botticelli, and creation of the brand roberto botticelli®. Roberto Botticelli's interest in art helped him working towards the canons of contemporary aesthetics. roberto botticelli® brand became a well recognized name in the world of European fashion with a launch of an advertising campaign including super models such as Eva Herzigova, and Angie Everhart in the 1980s. The company introduced a new luxury sports line of shoes called Botticelli Limited® in 1995.

The brand came to North America on Nov 1st, 2007 for the first time with the flagship store at Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona. Scottsdale was chosen as the first store in North America due to its strong demographics, growing young population, top tourist destination, top worldwide golf capital, an abundance of world-class resorts, and increasingly demand for luxurious fashion market.

roberrto botticelli® store in Scottsdale offers a selective range of handmade and exotic Italian shoes, handbags, and accessories that is usually only accessible in Europe. The opening of the store in Scottsdale coincides with the introduction of the brand's golf shoes and accessories for the first time. Combining luxury, fashion, and sports engineering has been the focus of this new line. The first formal introduction of this line in Europe was part of the company's major sponsorship of the Italian Golf Open in May 2007 in Milan, Italy.
